Show Graduation Exercises Honor Seventy-two Friday evening will long stand out in the minds and hearts of the seventy-two young men and women for whom graduating exercises were held. After- the overature by the orchestra or-chestra under direction of Ford M. Poulson, the graduates marched I slowly in to take their seats on the stage. They were very beautiful in , the glory of their youth and their : attire. ! The house was filled to its capa-! capa-! city by parents and friends of the j graduates. I The musical numbers and talks i were well presented and appreciated. appreciat-ed. i Following the exercises and pre-' pre-' sentation of diplomas, Ross Nielsen presented his gold medal to Abel Ekins for the best man in the ath- letic field in this division. Medals were given also to Russell Nielsen, Virgil Walker, Ray Walker and j Lloyd Armitstead for their relay 1 race victory. . The dance following was a decided success. I The citizens generally extend their ; good wishes to these seventy-two I young people who are commencing their work in the higher fields of , learning and in taking upon themselves them-selves the graver responsibilities of life. |
