Show Strawberry Day To Be Biggest In City's History Full Day Program, Parades, Rodeo, Free Berries, Concessions, Dances, $500.00 Cash, Prizes, Vaudeville Every one in Pleasant Grove is talking Strawberry Day, and every one is busy with some feature of this annual celebration, which will be superior to any of tire previous ones it has spread until all of Utah is enthused with the idea and all people are helping to put it ovbt. Almost every large concern in the state has in some way offered and given their support to make Strawberry Straw-berry Day fr 1937 superior to any of the previous years, and we wish : t0 extend our appreciation for their support. i Many bands will be present at the ! parade, some of them -will remain during the day. Many of the Fort ; Hall Indians will be present at the parade and the world's most fam- ous trick cowboy, Ms beautiful wife , and their famous horses. Governor Henry H. Blood and state officials, mayors of Salt Lake City and Utah county towns, chamber cham-ber officials, Lions club officials and members and other dignitaries of the state are invited to come and join in this state celebration. We are prepared to take care of 20,000 people. There will be plenty of berries ber-ries for every one. They will be J washed in a special .machine, placed in clean cups, with rich cream and sugar. This year the berries are larger and sweeter than ever and you will get the cream of the Strawberry crop this year. The day will begin with a fine K: miniature and mammoth parade, i0; with bands, a large parade of com-mercial com-mercial and advertising features, with plenty of funnies, floats and costumes. e - The afternoon has many new fea-3nt; fea-3nt; tures besides The Famous McBride '.t- and Southwick RODEO to be held 5- at the Ball park.
