Show Sportsmen Fence Local Pheasant Feeding Ground An outstanding project for wildlife wild-life conservation was completed here Sunday, when officers and members of the American Fork Wildlife Federation Fed-eration and representatives of the state fish and game department fenced a pheasant feeding-ground near Utah lake. The three-acre feeding ground, located on the lakeshore, was inclosed in-closed with a four-wire fence, in- tended to keep large animals from the area. Planted to gram last spring, the land has a crop which will be left standing to provide winter win-ter feed for pheasants. In the group Sunday were Milton Adams, president of the American Fork Wildlife Federation; Kenneth Nielsen, secretary; Leonard Jackson, and George Bingham, members of the organization, and Floyd Knowles and Joe Madsen of the state fish and game department. |
