Show American Fork Locals Wednesday, M'r. and Mrs. Elmer Bates were visitors in the capitol city. Mr. and Mrs. Owen Humphries attended at-tended a musical in the Salt Lake tabernacle last Saturday night. j Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Pratt, Ethel and Harold Pratt and Mildred Wanlass, were visitors in Salt Lake Sunday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fackrell and daughter, Letha, are spending this week-end in Tooele with Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Fackrell and Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Fackrell and their families. fam-ilies. Otto Brandt, who has sold his home in the Fourth ward has purchased pur-chased the Albert Sutherland place In the Second ward. Mr. Sutherland and family will move into apartments above the People's Bank in the near future. Mrs. Nan Chipman returned to her home here this week after an extended extend-ed visit in Long Beach, California. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Strange and C. A. Tierson attended a bridge party in Provo Wednesday night held in the Masonic Hall. Vern Peterson returned home to Welling, Alberta, Canada, after a visit of two weeks here with his aunt, Mrs. Eva Fackrell and Miss Detta McBride. Mrs.. Leland Mitchell entertaineo at a Valentine party Friday night her guests being Messrs. and Mesdames Edward Abel, Keed Robinson, Jack Iverson and Leslie Searle. The table decorations consisted of red hearts centered with a basket of flowers. Wednesday afternoon twenty-five of the little friends of Master Reed Parker were delightfully entertained by his mother, Mrs. Florence Parker, Park-er, at their home, the occasion being his 9th birthday. The little folks enjoyed en-joyed games after which a tasty lunch was served, of which a birthday cake was an important item. |
