Show Special Christmas Programs Arranged For Sunday Each of the Sunday Schools of the f:;ur wards have arranged (hiVnras programs to b? given a.-, ley rner.ai-ig. commencing at the regular Sunday Schoel hour, 10 c-'clce!', ts which a'.i rnembeis cf the Sunday Schools are invited. The First ward has prepared a pageant directed by Mrs. Jack Iverson entitled '"lire Spirit cf Christmas." In the cast ure the younger children, Santa and a parade pa-rade of the .nations which prcmuss to be a colorful procession. Miss Helen Devey of - the music department of the Third ward announces an-nounces the following program: preliminary music, Ann Clayson and solo, Feuion Nicholcs. : The Fourth ward will open with -. singing. "Far, Far Away en Juaea'-s f Plains" and "Jesus Once of Humble Birih"; two and a half minute talk. ! i Maurine Spafford; ser.g. The Second ward have e. special j pregram to be presented at 10 a. m. , in the ward chapel. I! At the Sunday night meeting in I the First ward. Dr. Thomas L. Martin Mar-tin of the Brighain Young university, j will be the speaker and will lead in la special commemoration exercise honoring the birth date of' the Prophet, Pro-phet, Joseph Smith, which occurs December 23rd. The Second and Fourth wards have planned especially espec-ially for the holiday season and have 1 very good programs arranged. The 1 Third ward will hold ward confer-! i ence. Grace Parker on the violins and Helen Devey accompanying; two and one-half minute talks, Vilate Boley and John Walker; number from the kindergarten class; song, Harold Greening; reading, Kathleen Brewer; duet, Eda and Bon.na Ash-by; Ash-by; story, Mrs. Ruby Clayson; cornet solo, Cecil R-ay Hansen; Christmas in Germany, Eli Clayson; and vocal |
