Show Annual Pageant Ready At Manila Ward The Manila ward of Timpanogos stake will present their annual early Christmas morning program at 6 a. m. in the ward chapel. The large star on the front of the building will shine Christmas eve and early morning, morn-ing, guiding all to the program. The situation of the building permits all to see it for miles. All M. I. A. officers are working very hard to make this program a success. Vilace Radmall, president of Y. M. M. I. A., and Mrs. Effie Mary Adams, president of Y. L. M 1. 1 A., are in charge of the committees on decoration and program. The following program will be presented: Christmas carols, sung by a quartette; sacred music by Lucy Lu-cy Wadley, accompanied; a dramatization drama-tization and pageant on the sacred theme "Glad Tidings of Great Joy",j prepared by Mrs. Angie W. Warnick. will be presented by a large cast of characters. The pageant covers: Part I The Prophecies foretelling the coming of Christ. Part II A scene in Palestine. The Nativity. The Ministry. Part III The nations accept Christianity. Christmas morning prayer will be given by President W. W. Warnick of the Timpanogos stake. Costumes for the scen in Palestine Pales-tine will be furnished by Wil-ford Wil-ford Booth of Alpine, who spent many years in Palestine with her husband, who was president of the Armenian mission. The scene of Bethlehem, also to be used, was painted by the art department de-partment of the B. Y. TJ. Every one is invited to be present. The members of the ward will be giad to again welcome their many friends who came from surrounding towns to be present at this very early Christmas morning service. This program has been given for so many years that it has now become a tradition of the ward and all look forward to it with pleasure. Those who attend feel' a real Christmas spirit and the friendship expressed in, "Merry Christmas." o |
