Show Mayor Appoints New Member To Hospital Board CLIFFORD E. YOUNG TO FILL VACANCY ON GROUP Clifford E. Young, president of Alpine Al-pine L. D. S. stake and cashier of the Peoples State Bank, was appointed ap-pointed to the American Fork Community Com-munity hospital board by Mayor Albert Al-bert Tregaskis Monday, and the appointment ap-pointment approved by the city council. The appointment was made to fill a vacancy created by the resignation resigna-tion of F. Rulon Nicholcs. Mr. Nicholcs Nich-olcs stated that pressure of other work was responsible for his action, and expressed pleasure in having served on the board since its organization. organ-ization. Another highlight of the meeting was appointment of Ernest R. Kirk-man Kirk-man as caretaker of the city park. With the enlarged area and additional addi-tional landscaping, the park will require re-quire additional care. The improvements improve-ments have been carried on under a WPA project sponsored by the city. Bills were presented and reports of city officers were read and approved. Receipts for the month of May were $4345.40, the recorder's report showed. The opening cash balance of $1706.4G together with the receipts made a total of $6,051.86. Disbursements Disburse-ments were $1590.95, leaving an end-of-the-month cash balance of $4,-4G0.91. $4,-4G0.91.
