Show Ten Years Ago Nyv. (Taken from files of Nov. 21, 1925) Stephen L. Chipman, who for 33 years has been the constant manager of the ever progressive and growing Chipman Mercantile compvuiy, has resigned this lxisition. William Chipman, a brother and present assistant as-sistant manager, (succeeds Stephen L. Chipman to the position. The change is to take place February 1, 1926, when the present manager leaves to fill a short mission in California Cali-fornia for the L. D. S. church. Ten Years Ago Now Rehersals have commenced on the negro ministrel to be given in the near future by the American Fork Firemen. Ten Years Ago Now Friday the 13th was no j;nx lor Miss Lorena Peterson of Lehi, and Mr. Weston Pratt of this city. For them the wedding bells rang as they were united in marriage at the home of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. I. L. Pratt. Saturday in Salt Like City, Miss Alvera Creer of Spanish Fork, and Walter B. Devey of this city were united in marriage. Two feet of snow at the Pacific mine and nearly as much at the other oth-er active mines in American Fork canyon, makes it necessary for preparations pre-parations for winter to be made. However, the outlook for a more active ac-tive wrinter than usual is better. American Fork students attending the University of Utah are L. Stanford Stan-ford Briggs, Chas. Contant, Mahlin S. Hansen, B. Ingersoll, Vivian Larson, Lar-son, Farrell J. Nicholes, Velma Shelley Shel-ley and Glen Wright. |
