Show o MARION WHITELY DIES FOLLOWING FOL-LOWING LINGERING ILLNESS Marion Whitely, 48, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. John Swen-son, Swen-son, Saturday morning after ten weeks of severe illness. She was born July 31, 1887, at Fountain Green, Sanpete Co. The family moved here when she was a child and have since lived here. Marion was an earnest church worker. She is survived by the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Joseph Earl Whitely, Oakley, Idaho; Myron I Whitely, twin brother, Plymouth, J Idaho; Mrs. Robert Gordon, Provo; John Elmer Whitely, Bingham; Theron Whitely, Orem; A. O. Whitely, White-ly, American Fork, and Mrs. John Swenson of Linden, j Funeral services were held Tuesday Tues-day at 2 p. m. in the Windsor ward chapel with Bishop Stanley B. Harris Har-ris in charge. i Tire choir sang, "Sister Thou Wast Mild and Lovely" The invocation was given by Wilfred J. Stark. , A duet, i "Unanswered Yet", was rendered by ' Leon Gordon and Alice Beth Whitely White-ly of Idaho. A sketch of the life of Miss Whitely was read by Ella M. Cragun. I The speakers were Hazel Marrott, president of the Windsor ward Relief Re-lief Society, Thomas A. Atkinson, Eldon Swenson and closing remarks by Bishop Stanley B. Harris. Other musical numbers rendered were a duet, "Music of the Pines", by Bessie Cockran and Helen Gor-1 don, and a piano solo, "Oh My Father" by Erma Swenson, and the closing song by the choir. The benediction was pronounced , by James L. Marrott. Interment was jmade in Pleasant Grove cemetery 1 where the grave was dedicated by a Joseph H. Adams. |
