Show o Ilfeh School News Edna Anderson, Reporter Maxine Taylor and Winnifred Babcock entertained the Beethoven Club November 15, at the home of Miss Taylor. The following program was presented: Vocal solo by Emily Currie; Wayne Booth gave the very-interest very-interest ing life of Bach; Peter Beck rendered a cornet solo, and Phil Harrington gave news events. The student body is sponsoring an apron and overall ball which will be held in the high school gym, November 27th. The committee in charge is Willard Devitt, Margarets Dunklcy and "Verda Miller. They promise a lively and amusing time with many unique attractions. A turkey will be given away during the evening. The local chapter of the F. F. A. met Thursday, November 14. The following committees were appointed: appoint-ed: Exrrutive: Win. Shelton, Spencer Spen-cer Berk, Arden Spencer and Stanley Stan-ley IIunf?r. Program: Lloyd Ilay-ward Ilay-ward and Karl Blown. Refreshment: Vera Jensen and Paul Wilkin.s. Stunt: James MeCallister and Harold Har-old Paxman. Preservation of Plow and Ear of Con.: Parker Chipman and Clifford Christ enson. Vera Jensen and Frank Parker were elected to make a stand for the flag. Two competitive teams were organized or-ganized to collect dues. Peter Beck and Lynn Mayne were chosen captains. cap-tains. The team who, has collected the most dues by December 1 will be "treated" by the losing team. |
