Show Pleasant Grove Locals j Mr. and Mrs. Glen Bezzant of Farmingtcn, were week end visitors ivith relatives here. Reef Wadley of Baker, Nevada, spent the week end with his sister, Mrs. Stanley B. Harris and family. . Mrs. J. D. Wadley is recovering from a very serious illness- She is at the home of her daughter; Mrs. Mini W. Mickelson of Draper. Mrs. C. Fa-ssett, mother of Mrs. Floyd S'crenson, left Monday for Los Angeles, California. She expects to spend the wdnter there with relatives. rela-tives. The "M" Men and the Gleaner Girls of Lindon entertained at a banquet ban-quet at the Lindon Hall Tuesday evening. eve-ning. Fifty guests were present. It is reported that Joseph, and Thomas College, Warner Slater and Richard Walker are among the successful suc-cessful Elk hunters this season. While playing on Sunday afternoon after-noon Leland, son of Carl Carlson, had the misfortune to break his I right arm. He is doing nicely and j is able to attend school. ! Mr. and Mrs. James C. Peterson J are moving from their farm to rooms at the Arrowhead Service Station. Their son, Howard and wife, will occupy the farm home. Carl Wilde of Provo, who was attendant at-tendant at the Walnut Service last winter, is back at his old location until it is leased again. The ladies Auxiliary of the Pleasant Pleas-ant Grove Firemen's organization entertained at a turkey dinner with all the trimmings, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson Monday Mon-day evening. After the sumptuous dinner, prepared by the wives of the firemen, the evening was spent in miscellaneous competitive games for which prizes were awarded. Those present were: Chief and Mrs. Kemp, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Nelson, Mr. Miss Gwen West and Miss Edna Fugal are taking a night school course in shorthand and English at the Provo High school every Monday and Wednesday evening. Mrs. Allen C- Richards of Poca-tello, Poca-tello, Idaho, has been visiting the past week with her mother, Mrs. Annie Jane Culmer, who is ill at the ' home of her son, Fred L. iCulmer of Lindon. Mr. and Mrs. Lenard Walker announce an-nounce the engagement .of their j daughter, La Preal, and Edwin Os-carcon, Os-carcon, son of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. lOscarson. Mrs. Edward Newhart of Omaha, Nebraska, visited Thursday with Mrs. Ed. Nelson and Mrs. Glen Wadley. Wad-ley. On Friday they all motored to Spring City to visit with relatives there. Mrs. Newhart left Saturday for her home hi Nebraska. Mr- and Mrs. Thomas Cordner of Orem had as their guests, Wednesday Wednes-day evening, Mr. and Mrs- Vern Cullimore Cul-limore of Pleasant Grove.
