Show alpine news Mrs. L. Bates, Reporter. The officers and teachers of the M. T. A. and the members of the M Mens i class enjoyed a social at the Gym Friday evening. Games and dancing j were enjoyed after which lunch was Served. A dance was given in honor F of the M Men champions Saturday evening when a very enjoyable time s was had. Mr. and Mrs. George Monson of i Salt Lake, were guests of Mr. and ; Mrs. John Whitby on Sunday. Kenton and Wilbur McDaniel, sons of Wilford McDaniel, have been suff- I ering the past week with pneumonia, j They are thaught, however, to be on the improve. Bishop E. W. Burgess is very ill with rheumatic fever. His many j friends hope for his speedy recovery. I The ofRcers and teachers of the l Sunday School had a very enjoyable I social Wednesday evening in the Gym. j Games and dancing were enjoyed after which lunch was served. j Mrs. Fugal will lecture to the Relief Re-lief Society Tuesday afternoon on flower culture. The Relief Society is preparing a spicy program of plays and songs to celebrate their annual day. March 17 being Sunday the entertainment will ' be held on Monday evening. f The Alpine ward will hold its anual Gold and Green ball next Wed- i nesday evening. The contests for J queen will close Friday night. The f names of several young ladies have been put up but the contest thus far j seems to be between Thelma Petersen I and Mt'erose Carlisle. o ;i |
