Show Annual Poultry Founders Day Committee Start Work Big Celebration To Be Held About June 15th. The general committee which is to carry on the work of putting over American Fork's third annual Poultry Founders celebration met in the City Hall Wednesday evening and got preliminary pre-liminary work under way. The day is to be made bigger and better than ever before, features to accomplish this being arranged: and gone after early. The first step taken to enlarge the affair was the selection of additional members on the general committee representative of the poultry industry. Three members were added bringing the committee to a total of ten members. mem-bers. The three new ones are Willis Bromley, C. L. Warnick and James Peters. The entire general committee commit-tee personnel is now as follows: Rudolph Konold, general chairman, chair-man, Mayor Roy Greenwood, William Chipman, J. L. Firmage, Martin Nielsen, Niel-sen, Willis Bromley, C. ,L. Warnick, James Peters, all directors, Thomas A. Barratt, secretory and J. B. Parker, treasurer, A vote at the meeting carried to make each of the general committee the chairman of the various committees. commit-tees. This will bring the general chairman in touch with the chairman of every other committee at all meetings meet-ings and should tend it o make a very effective organization. The appointment of these committees commit-tees and the chairmen is to be accomplished ac-complished a.t once and the complete committees intrusted to put over the big celebration will be announced in the very near future. Some money is in the treasury from last year and with the spirit predominating the 1929 celebration of Poultry Founders day will go over bigger and beitter. It is planned to make it a district celebration representative repre-sentative of all the poultry men of the north end of Utah county. |
