Show o Daughters Of Pioneers Elect Officers: Fifty-four Attend Annual Meet ( The Daughters of the Pioneers held their annual election meeting Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. M. IT. Ingersoll. There were fifty four present at the meeting Including In-cluding the county president, Mrs. Bernetta M. Beck, county secretary, Mrs. C. W. Jones, second vice-president, Mrs. Dixon, and Mrs. Smith, all of Provo. The county officers were in charge of the election which resnlt- ed as follows: President, Mrs. Thomas Codding- ton; first vice-president, Mrs. M'ary j Anderson; second vice-president, Mrs. Lettie Oudmundsen; secretary and assistant, Mrs. June Wright and Mrs. George Meredith; treasurer, Mrs. Joseph Wild; chorister, Mrs. ArvlIIa Storrs; organist and assistant, Mrs. . F. M. Houston and Mrs. Ida Harrington; Harring-ton; parlimentariam, Mrs. J. F. Noyes; (historian, Mrs. Hannah Aydclotte; I registrar, Mrs. Lizzie Earl; chaplain, j Mrs. John Ovard; relic custodians, Mrs. Jane Howes and Mrs. Sarah A. , Shelley. Committee members will bo appointed at the next regular meet-: meet-: ing. I A program consisting of the follow- ing numbers was enjoyed (luring the , afternoon: community singing; prayer, pray-er, Chaplain Ovard; vocal trio, Mrs. J. F. Noyes, Mrs. F. M'. Houston ami Mrs. V. F. Houston; reading, Mrs. Eleanor K. Nicholes; vocal solo, Mrs. Myrtle Houston; diologue, Mrs. Pearl j Loveless and Mrs. Thomas Codding- l ton. The entertaining rooms were decorated deco-rated In symbols suggestive of St. Patricks day, white and green carnations carna-tions being flower motifs. The luncheon lunch-eon was also carried out In the St. Patrick's idea. |
