Morrell Ashby and Roy Cox, both students at the American Fork high school are recovering slowly from injuries sustained while participating participat-ing in various sports at the high school. They are not confined, however, as they are able to be about on crutches. Morrell broke the bone in his ankle while playing on the tennis court. Roy accidentally broke the arch in his foot. Mrs. Jarvis Aydelotte was assisting hostess. Daffodils were used in the decorating scheme throughout the reception rooms, and each guest was presented with one in commemoration of Mother's Day. A program consisting of a vocal solo by Mrs. J. L. Firmage, dramatic' selection selec-tion by Mrs. Helen Heiselt, and a vocal solo by Mrs. W. R. Halliday, was enjoyed. Mrs. William Chip-man Chip-man also gave a detailed report of the State Federation convention. Following Fol-lowing the program, a delicious luncheon was served. Special guests included Mrs. Lallie Wild, Mrs. Lexia Briggs, Mrs. Mae Greenwood, Mrs. Mabel Adamson, Mrs. Martha Buck-waiter, Buck-waiter, Mrs. Nora Ingersoll, Mrs. Myrtle Houston of this city, and Mrs. Clara Larsen of Lehi. Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Christensen and family spent Sunday in Ogden, the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Frank M. Driggs. That evening they attended the services in the Thirteenth ward chapel for Elder Samuel Martin, a recently returned missionary from South Africa. Mr. and Mrs. Christensen Chris-tensen were especially interested in Elder Martin's missionary reports, as their son, Clare, is laboring in this mission.
