Chairman Linebaugh was instructed instruct-ed to have the city attorney write to those parties delinquent in their sidewalk and street paving accounts, he also reported a few business houses still delinquent , in their licenses. Chairman Dickerson of the Irrigation Irriga-tion committee, reported more than $300.00 of the delinquent Irrigation taxes collected during the month and turned over to the city treasurer. The appointment of a caretaker for tie cemetery was left with the mayor and City Property committee, by a motion made by Councilman Bezzant. Relative to individuals caring for cemetery lota other than their own, a motion was made by Councilman Uoore which carried, that they be notified hy the sexton that the city is now in complete charge, and that they will not be permitted to accept pay for caring for other peoples lots and that all lots will be under the supervision super-vision of the sexton. Relative to plumbing work in the city, Councilman Moore made a motion mo-tion which carried that all persons laying pipe, making pipe connections or otherwise doing plumbing work, should be required to take out a plumbers license. A list of the business houses who had paid their licenses, was presented to the council by Chairman Linebaugh Line-baugh of the License committee. Relative Re-lative to the application of the Yellow stone Speciality Co. to place Mint Vending Machines at the Arrowhead and Walnut service stations, a motion was made by Councilman Moore which carried that the city accept the 25.00 license and the offer of $25.00 donation to the Chamber of Corn- |
