Show Local Band Pleases Lehi With Concert Citizens of Lehi were well pleased Tuesday evening with the concert given them by members of the American Fork City band. Under the direction of their leader, K. J. Bird, the band members presented an unusually interesting program for the citizens of the neighboring community. Special numbers during the evening's eve-ning's entertainment were given by Mr. Bird and Miss Mildred Chip-man Chip-man who sang two duete, "Italian Street Song" and "I'll Forget you Never," and Miss Maxine Taylor who played two violin solos, "Indian "In-dian Love Call" and "Sweetheart." The band members presented another an-other well prepared and well played concert to the townspeople of American Amer-ican Fork Wednesday evening. S'pc- cial numbers were given by Miss Evelyn Peck, who sang two vocal solos and by Gtorge Riem5,chiisf.ell, who played two violin solos. Thursday night Mr. Bird and MLss Chipman sang several numbers at the Provo Lions club meeting in Provo. o |
