Show DAUGHTERS OF PIONEERS MEET The Adams Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, met Thursday afternoon, after-noon, May 10th, at the home of Mrs. Ivy Steele with Mrs. Sabina Allen in charge. The meeting opened with singing "Love at Home", prayer by Mrs. Mary Anderson and "Count Your Blessings", after which Mrs. Laura Timpson gave a talk on early July 24th celebrations in American Fork and Salt Lake. Mrs. Ann Hug-1 gard also spoke on early celebrations ' here. The meeting was then turned to Mrs. Ivy Steele and the program continued as follows: Two vocal solos, "Spring Is A Lovable Lady" and "My Faith In Thee", Mrs. Loraine Boley Ingersoll accompanied by Miss Melissa Greenwood; Green-wood; sketch of life of Richard Reese Steele and his wife Alice Mitchell Steele by Mrs. Ivy Steele-original Steele-original lines to Mr. and Mrs. Steele, composed and read by Laura Timpson; solo, "I Love You Truly", Miss Helen Greenwood accompanied by Mrs. Ann C. Hansen; reading "Mother Gets on the Job", Mrs No ra Ingersoll;; presentation of short history of. American Fork to the camp in behalf of Lawry Nelson of the B. Y. U.; closing song, "Our Mountain Home So Dear"; benediction, benedic-tion, Mrs. Sadie Meredith. There were 18 members and 9 visitors visi-tors present at the meeting. |
