Show o Ten Years Ago Now (Taken from files of May 17, 1924) Pleasant Grove now has every right to feel proud of its new fire equipment. With the united help of the iDllowing mechanics, Hans Williamson, Will-iamson, Chris Williamson, Josiah Kemp, Ray Frampton, Raymond Nelson and Ike Hayes and the moral support of the entire community, the use of the Hayes Garage, and the city fathers' help, the equipment is now almost complete. Ten Years Ago Now On Sunday, May 18th, the Alpine stake Seminary graduation exercises will be held. ' Following are the graduates from Pleasant Grove seminary: sem-inary: Lyman W. Anderson, Elva Brown, William E. Clark, Jr., Owen S. Cullimore, Estella Draper, Grace O. Foutz, Vida L. Fugal, Maurine Gammett, Edna Herbertson, Elva L. Makin, Emily Marrott, Grace M. Mayhew, Richard Marsh, Lillian Millett, Anona Nielsen, Emma Olpin, Virgil C. Peterson, Ervine F. Smith, Louie Thorne, Grace Wadley, Vera Nebeker, Lucille Walker, Fern Weeks and Bumell West. The seminary principal is S, D, Moore, Jr, Ten Years Ago Now Student body election was held at the high school May 8th with the following results: President, Reta Page; Vice-president, Jewel Line-baugh; Line-baugh; Secretary-treasurer, Christie Johnson; Editor, Leah Oler; Debating Debat-ing Manager, Leo Richins; Dramatic Manager, George Ball ; Athletic Manager, Ray Bezzant; Business manager, Gene Poulson, Yellmastera Richard Marsh and Elmer Clarkston. Ten Years Ago Now Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Robbins of Lindon were made happy May 10th by the birth of twin sons. One died I at birth but the other is doing well. |
