Show SCHOOL NEWS GRADE SCHOOLS GIVE TRANSPORTATION TRANS-PORTATION EXHIBITION Last Friday Miss Emma Bush, Mrs. Leone Told and Miss Marjor-ie Marjor-ie Holdaway, teachers at the grade school building, gave an exhibit in modes of transportation, through posters, booklets, borders and through home-made toys, to the mothers of the children in these departments. The mothers were entertained with songs, plays, dances and other program numbers given by the children. The mothers were well pleased with the work of the children. child-ren. On Monday this exhibit was given for Mrs. Nelson, district supervisor, and all of the teachers of the first four grades of the Alpine School District. On Wednesday Miss Ollerton, head of the B. Y. U. training school, came to Pleasant Grove to see this worthwhile exhibit. An educational tour was conducted conduct-ed Wednesday by the Social Ethics classes and American History classes. class-es. The groups went to Salt Lake on the Orem where they visited the following places of interest: State Capitol building, Airport, State Penitentiary, Pen-itentiary, University of Utah and the newspaper printing offices. About seventy-five students participated partici-pated in the tour, chaperoned by principal A. P. Warnick, Miss Ruth Peterson, Miss Emily Wright and Ford M. Poulson, faculty members. The Junior class will conduct a matinee dance Friday afternoon, while the Junior Prom decorations are still intact. Suzanne Grua, School Reporter. JUNIOR HIGH GIVE PROGRAM The Junior High assembly program pro-gram Friday, given by the girls physical phy-sical education class was under the direotion of Miss Arvilla Clark. Miss Melba Harris, Junior high vice-president, took charge. The numbers were as follows: Prayer Ruby Johnson Health play, "Over the Top"..
