Show Training Meets Slated For Local Scouters, Leaders Scouttrs and troop It-uUers of Alpine Al-pine Gi.-.trK't Boy Scouts of America will participate in a series of three camp training meets, during the coming month, Norveii Erov.n, district dis-trict chairman, announced Tuesday. The camp training meets will be held on May 1, May 8, and May 15, and will begin about 6 p. m., Mr. Brown said. Various subjects in the camping line will be presented by the various troop representatives. "The purpose of this series is to give valuable training to the Scouters Scout-ers and troop leaders, which they may take back to their respective troop organizations. In audition, they are expected to maintain en-I en-I thusiasm in Scouting and hold the I troops together during the summer months," Mr. Brown said. The newly-reorganized district committee is comprised of Mr. Brown, chairman; Charles Walker, vice-chairman and chairman of the court of honor; Ray Ellison, commissioner; com-missioner; Reed Robinson, Vanguard Van-guard commissioner and vice-chairman; C. A. Grant, organization chairman; and John Abel, assisting in the camping department. rt , |
