Show Funeral Services Conducted For Francis Blair Funeral services for Francis Albert Blair were held in the St. George tabernacle, May 27, under the direction di-rection of Bishop Harold S. Show of the South ward in St. George. The speakers were James McAr-thur, McAr-thur, Mayor, Albert Miller and Patriarch Pa-triarch George W. Worthen. Francis Albert Blair was born August 26. 1867 at St. George, a son of Tarlton Blair and Lydia Blair, Dixie pioneers. He spent his boyhood boy-hood there and in Price. Washington Washing-ton county, Utah, taking advantage cf all schooling offered at that time. He was married in the St. George temple, April 19. 1889 to Louisa Booth. To this union ten children were born, eight of whom are living. They are as follows: James Blair, Orem; J. Lamond Blair, Delmr.r Blah, Glen Blair, Los Angeles; Mrs. Herbert Beck, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Carl Moss, St. George, Utah; Mrs. Halvern Farr, Sheldon Blair, Pleas-"' ant Grove. Most of his life was spent as a farmer and as a freighter. In 1925 he moved to Provo Bench, where he continued to farm for five years. The family then moved to Pleasant Grove where they purchased a home and have lived ever since. Besides his wife and children he is survived by 19 grandchildren, a sister, Lottie Bryner, St. George. Utah; a half-brother, John C. Blair, Wilmington, California; two half-sisters, half-sisters, Mrs. Mattie Dykeman and Mary E. Lyle, Ogden, Utah. o |
