A motion that the rest rooms be opened and cleaned for the use of the public, and that the school students be kept out if they cannot respect the privilege of then-use, then-use, carried. Councilman Johnson asked that he be given the privilege of canvassing canvas-sing the residents of Main street, relative to closing the street from State street to Second West and seeding the same to grass. This was granted. The report of the chairman on irrigation was accepted. Monthly reports were received and. accepted from Nello Nielson, superintendent of water works and Josiah Kemp, fire chief, Saturday evening at the regular council meeting. meet-ing. Councilman Clifton Clark reported re-ported a new culvert had been installed in-stalled in the ditch near the Isaac Carlson home, and one had been started near the G. E. Herron home. Mr. Clark also repartee that most of the streets had been gone over with the grader and put in first class shape. Councilman H. Walker made the motion that the streets committee be authorized to repair the street running! East from Locust Avenue to the Reuben Tomlinson home. Motion carried. Councilman Walker reported that the city jail should be repaired prior to the spring cleaning job. A motion carried that this be left with the city property committee with power to act. Mr. Walker reported that the new council chamber was ready for use. It was reported that the bonds of the three concerns which will sell beer had been accepted by the Mayor and license committee and were duly approved by the city council. Councilman Clark made a motion that the mayor make an appointment appoint-ment with the State Road Commission Com-mission to meet with the council relative to the changing of the State Highway through Pleasant Grove. The motion carried. Councilman Coun-cilman Walker moved that the tax money coming- in for 1934 be set aside as a trust fund until the city is authorized to use it. The motion carried. Councilman Clark moved that there be no change in the securities se-curities given by the Bank of Pleasant Grove for the money deposited de-posited without the consent of the mayor and the city council. The motion carried. Motion by councilman council-man Clark that the changing of the ; fixtures of the city council chamber to the new quarters be left with ' the property committee. Carried. A report was made that Carl Nelson, Nel-son, had offered to water the trees and haul the rubbish from the cemetery cem-etery for the use of the two acres of farm adjoining the cemetery. Councilman Clark reported that he had talked to A. P. Warnick relative rel-ative to policing Pioneer Park with boys from the high school.
