Show o Service Star Legion Meeting A meeting of the Service Star Legion was held in the city hall, Wednesday, November 21, commencing commenc-ing at 2:30 p. m. President Laura Dunkley was in charge of the meeting, meet-ing, which opf:ied with the singing of "America" cul prayer offered by Mrs. Ann L. Chipman. A report of the national convention was given by Mrs. Dunkley and other items of business were disposed of. Mrs. Susie Miller, Mrs. Haydee Iverson and Mrs. May Laursen were released. Mrs. Merling Clyde was sustained as secretary-treasurer of the organization organiza-tion and Mrs. Florence Moss was named to the office of "Sisterhood." A program arranged by Mrs. Alice Chadwick and Mrs. Alice Stice was then given, consisting of the following follow-ing numbers: piano selections, Miss; Lydia Olsen; reading "Rights of. Women", Miss Bernice Miller; vocal ; trio, Mrs. Lottie Hammond, Mrs. Lil- j Iran C. Booth and Miss- Mildred j Chipman, accompanied by Miss OI- sen; vocal duet, "The Swallow", Miss; Margaret Dunkley and Miss Beth Ellison, accompanied by Miss Virginia Vir-ginia Mercer. |
