The show featured big-tim- e wrestlers from Utah County: Chip Atkinson, Lehi; Darryl Peterson, Pleasant Grove, and Gary Golding, The Annihilator, from Provo. The Western Wrestling Alliance expects to put on another exciting wrestling show in six or eight weeks. The wrestling arena is in the Pleasant Grove Rodeo Grounds. Dash won his bout with Intern Scalpel. He and Tomy Gunzz teamed -- up in a tag team encounter with The Interns and won, of course. , "There are winners and losers in every sport, but we always win," said the ever-mode- st Dash. Another highlight of the eve-ning's entertainment, was the al-luring presence of Nurse Goodbody, who was present to insure that first aid was available in case any of the wrestlers were injured or maimed. Nearly 1500 spectators showed up for Utah County's first big-tim- e wrestling production. Max Payne (alias Darryl Peterson) fixes his opponent with a fearsome stare. at Friday night's pro wrestling match held in the Pleasant Grove Rodeo Arena. Some 1,500 fans turned out for the first local meet of the Western Wrestling Alliance -- - organized by Peterson.
