Several people injured in various types of accidents during past week Two people were taken to Ameri-0 Ameri-0 Pork Hospital for treatment fljesday morning following an accent ac-cent at 200 S. Geneva Road in lindon. Wording to the report of Officer Brett Lloyd, the accident occurred ,hen a northbound car driven by Una Wilkinson, American Fork, attempted a left turn on Geneva Hod and collided with a southed south-ed car driven by LeeAnn Smith, Pleasant Grove. Both women were treated for jnor injuries at the hospital and (leased. Damage to each car was listed at p. Rollace Pugh, Pleasant Grove, is Bed in critical condition at iKrican Fork Hospital after altering a heart attack while tag his car last week. Mr. Pugh's car struck a parked arowned by Jim Chipman at 111 LDSouth. Here was $1,000 damage to the ftipman auto and $800 to the Pugh vehicle. Mr. Pugh was transported by Feasant Grove Ambulance. Jim Smith, 18, was injured May evening when a car fell on at. He is listed in stable condition at 'lerican Fork Hospital with back srfinternal injuries. In other police matters, officers are reminding residents to not leave purses in vehicles. The department is being deluged with calls from people whose purses have been taken from their cars. During the past week purses were taken from cars parked at 70 S. 400 East, 620 S. 1550 East, and from a locked vehicle at 1690 N. 100 East. A seven-year-old boy riding a bicycle collided with a pickup truck at 200 W. 400 North and was taken to American Fork Hospital where he was treated for minor injuries. Cody Nelson Thompson was riding his bike northbound on 200 West and trying to get away from a water fight when he rode his bike into the side of the truck which was westbound on 400 North . The truck was driven by Roy L. Thacker. There was $100 damage to the bike and $500 damage to the truck. Jodi Christofferson, 1095 E. Nathaniel, told officers that she heard a vehicle collide with her car in front of her home on Aug. 20. She looked outside and saw a cream colored car leave the scene of the accident. There was $400 damage to her car. Officers are still looking for the hit-and-run car. Someone loosened the lugnuts on a tire on a pickup owned by Douglas Peterson of Highland. The wheel came off and caused $700 damage to the truck. There are no suspects. Sgt. Steve Frampton arrested a 15-year-old male in connection with the theft of a Diamond Back Viper bicycle valued at $210. Josh Topham of Lindon reported that his 18 speed Huffy Bike, valued val-ued at $199, had been taken from in front of his home. Leland Cox, Pleasant Grove, told officers that a portable generator had been taken from in front of his home. There are no suspects. Officer John Lloyd is looking for a youth who threw a handful of rocks from the railroad overpass causing damage to a car driven by Blaine E. Clark, Pleasant Grove. There was an estimated $100 damage to the top of the vehicle. Vickie L. Trucks, Pleasant Grove, reported the theft of a McCullough chain saw valued at $385 and water wa-ter damage to a table valued at $999 and carpets valued at $50. There is a possible suspect. Preston Wright told officers that his home had been vandalized and money was taken. The total value of damage and money was listed at $154. |
