Standing, David Welcker and Melissa Carter. i Dinner Theater to feature 'Roomers,' good food "ROOMERS" starting at 7:30 p.m. The whole evening will wrap up around 8:30 p.m. Tickets are available from members of the Thespian Troupe or Catering Class and also from Mrs. Griffin and Mr. Perry. It is requested that all tickets be purchased pur-chased by February 16 so that places and food can be adequately reserved and prepared. Pleasant Grove High School Thespian Troupe and Catering Management Class will present their annual Dinner Theatre production on February 19, 20 and 22 at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium. This year's play, a farce by Jerome McDonough called "ROOMERS," is under the direction of Drama Coach C. Michael Perry. It takes place in a boarding house ran by the miserly Mrs. Garney. She is a witch of a woman who even rents out pantries and closets in order to collect rent. Donna Fugal will play Mr. Garney. : Among her odd collection of i boarders is Lasher, the boarding ! house cook, if you can call what he does "cooking," played by Jeff j Grace; Sheila, an aspiring actress played by Natalie Steuck, who must experience each object and person in her life to its fullest potential so ' that she can add it to her memory of experiences; Dana Jo, played by Sherilyn Patch, a country western singer who really can't sing and really doesn't even know what a demo-tape is; Meg, a health nut, who jogs everywhere; Kanbo, a rich foreigner who speaks little English and understands less, is played by i Jason Tatom; his leech of a girlfriend Jen, who is only after I Kanbo's money, is played by Jill Giles. Then there is Kristen, the only "normal" one of the bunch, played by Angie Fidel. Add to this zany assortment Jen's older sister, Candy, who has always been nothing short of "delightful" played by Michelle Gentry; Kristen's life long friend, Holly, played by Lisa Fulton, who has left her husband because she feels like just another object in his life; that husband, Tim, played by Bob Defendi; a lawyer played by Wendy Davis, who has been hired by Tim's father to spy on Holly and recover the baby and prove Holly's incompetence as a mother; Manrashi, played by Xander Foulger, who is a member of some fanatic cult of peace or religion who is looking for a new "space" to live; and Tanbo, Kanbo's brother, played by Jason Morgan, who when he arrives in America, finds himself in much the same situation as his brother. All in all it's a zany evening of entertainment. Chris Alldredge, Jenie Smith, Steve Livingston, Marilee Clayson, Becky Anderson, Tashera Lindsay, Bo Hallett, Matt Hancock, Angie Olpin and Lisa Brown will present dinner music and pre-show entertainment. en-tertainment. The Catering Management Class, taught by foods teacher, Mrs. Griffin, will serve an appetizer followed by a main course of Chicken Cordon Bleu, vegetables and potatoes with a drink, salad and dessert. The students of the Catering Management Class will prepare the food and act as hosts and waiterwaitresses for the evening. If you have attended prior dinner theatre events you know that there is an exciting evening of food and fun awaiting you. The cost will be $7.50 per person.
