Show Q obituaries A. Frank Gaisford A. Frank Gaisford, 94, of American Fork, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 1988 in American Fork. He was born May 21, 1893 in Salt Lake City to Arthur Frank and Mary Elizabeth Beverley Gaisford. He married Naomi Powers in 1913. She died July 23, 1983. He spent much of his life in the newspaper publishing and printing business. He was very active in civic affairs in Lehi and American Fork. Survivors include three daughters: Mrs. DR. (Naomi) Norton, Provo; Urth B. Hansen, Fairfield, Iowa; and Mrs. Richard (Elaine) Dabling, Orem ; 18 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; five sisters and one brother: Maude Singleton, Downey, Calif.; Mrs. C.J. (Garnet) An derson, Mrs. Owen (Nora) Mousley, Sandy; Arlene Bills, Riverton; Mrs. Milton (Beth) Densley, Mid-vale; Mid-vale; and Earl B. Gaisford, Fremont, Calif. Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 25, at Anderson & Sons Mortuary Chapel, American Fork. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. Leonard A. Fillerup Leonard Atmone Fillerup, age 83, died Jan. 20, 1988 in La Cenada, Calif., of causes incident to age. He was born Nov. 6, 1904 in Arizona, son of Charles R. and Monita Johnson Fillerup. He married Bessie LaVern Kirkham of Lehi, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Jan. 1, 1985. Mr. Fillerup was a certified public ac countant and worked for Morse Decals Co. of Los Angeles, California for 40 years. He was a High Priest in the LDS Church and served in several bishoprics. Survivors include one son, George L. Fillerup, La Cenada, Calif.; brother and sisters, Otho Fillerup, Palm Desert, Calif.; Phyllis Shumway, Hemit, Calif.; Ruby Tepsich, St. George; Linnie Montierth, Provo; Fernith Palmer, Taylor, Arizona; Vilda Sayner, Scottsdale, Ariz. Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 23 at 1 p.m. in the Lehi City Cemetery under direction of Wing Mortuary. Melvin Kirkham offered the dedicatory prayer. |
