Show Police investigate local thefts Joseph Krochta, 565 E. 1100 North, told Pleasant Grove Police Officer Jim Taufer that several items had been taken from his garage on Jan. 17. Taken were a Snap-on tool box valued at $500, a Snap-on floor jack valued at $208, a Snap-on battery charger valued at $200 and an undetermined un-determined amount of miscellaneous tools valued at $2,500. William Grant Ellis reported that $40 had been taken from his Maple Hills Apt. There are no suspects, according to Sgt. Steve Frampton. Det. Bert Bean arrested a 24-year-old male for prescription fraud. He was booked on Jan. 12. Dell Young, principal of Pleasant Grove Junior Seminary reported that he had left $100 in a locked drawer over the Christmas holidays and when he returned the money was missing. There is a possible suspect. Carolyn Jenkins, 145 N. 200 East, Lindon, told officers that two women's swimming suits valued at $130 and nightwear valued at $20 had been taken from her home. Officer Jeff Wilson is investigating the theft. The 7-11 Store reported the theft of a Panasonic VHS video player valued at $300 and video movies valued at $180. The items were rented by an individual and not returned. There are suspects. |
