Handicapped ask for consideration on specially reserved parking places Several handicapped persons have reported recently that it is becoming increasingly dilticult to park in a handicapped parking place because other drivers have already used them Many times people may not realize that handicapped people really do need those parking areas. Those who need to use a han-dicapped parking area should contact the Highway Patrol Drivers Uivision in Drum and fill out the proper papers to qualify for handicapped parking. The handicapped say that often they see people who are not han-dicapped using the parking stalls which are reserved for those who have serious handicaps. They have asked that drivers be considerate and avoid parking in handicapped parking areas. |
