Show UpGHS groups to present two musicals for public PGHS Thespians and Orchesis till present two premiere musicals or the Christmas season. They are being performed for the first time jjy anywhere on Dec. 18 and 19 at 7 ' pm. in the high school auditorium. 10 Aiiseats are $2. It is a delightful b ErJ Christmas musical for the whole aloK family about the joy of giving, the "ss It stars Angie Olpin as Mrs. bran a Hotchkiss, the local mall manager; Matt Hancock as Nick, the mall ;,&; Santa; Steve Livingston as Larry, wsiki the sports equipment salesman; aged : : Tashera Lindsay as Marcia, a iepartment store sales clerk; Chris nate Alldredge as Silas, a bookstore ,10)E sales clerk; Becky Anderson as Susan, the Frosty Yogurt salesgirl; Jenie Smith as Marge, the ticket Ucer at the mall triplex theaters; ffidMarilee Clayson as Shirley, the ' Cookie World cookie girl. ' He story centers around six teenagers with temporary jobs at a local mall. They are all trying to am extra money so that they can jet something nice for either their parents or family as a Christmas present. But no matter how long or j tod they work, they never seem to toe enough to get just what they ' want, until... Hie show is directed and j ioreographed by drama coach l ie Perry. Bo Hallett serves as 1 8 assistant director and Jenie Smith is the assistant choregrapher. Hie second musical, presented by Orchesis, is called "A Never Ever Wedding." it is a show specially "itten for Orchesis by dance and Jama teachers Elaine Hansen and Perry, with help from BYU WessorMaxGolightly. story takes us back to Never Never Land with Peter Pan, Wendy, Tink, Tiger Lily, Captain Hook, Smee and the rest of the wonderful characters of that magic land. This tale takes place before the well-known well-known "Peter Pan" and could be called a "pre-quel" to that famous piece. Here, we find out why Peter Pan and Tinkerbelle have such a saucy relationship - Tink was once the leader of the "Lost Girls" and was betrothed to Peter. But the wedding was ruined by Nepturna, the Sea Witch, who came after something that Peter had taken from her and then turned all the "Lost Girls" to trolls. How Tinkerbelle becomes a sprite is the secret of this enchanting en-chanting little musical. Steve Livingston will play the part of Peter Pan. Tinkerbelle is played by Jenie Smith; Wendy is played by Jennie Walker and Jani Jones on alternate nights. Jade, the meramid, will alternate between Valerie Peterson and Tiffany Draney. Captain James Hook will be played by Jeff Grace. Smee will be played by Jason Tatom and Chriss Alldredge. Nepturna, the Sea Witch, is played by Donna Fugal and Tiger Lily is played by Lisa Brown. The rest of the Orchesis dancers fill out the cast as sprites, Lost Girls, Sea Guppies, trees and animals, with a special appearance by Sylvia the crocodile. Mindy Adamson takes you on a Teddy Bear Picnic. All ages and all sizes will enjoy this evening of light and thoughtful entertainment provided by the talented students at Pleasant Grove High School.
