He attended Lakeridge Junior High and graduated from Mountain View High School in 1984 alter his family returned to I'tah to reside in Orem. Ik-had Ik-had attended BYT and I'tah Valley Community Com-munity College. He was active in spoils, participating in high school varsity wrestling, football, and he was a weight lifter. She had lived in Mercur and Tooele before moving to Cedar Fort. She was a homemaker and helped her husband in the farming and poultry business. She helped care for her own and her husband's family in their declining years. She was very talented in embroidery, crochet and handiwork. She loved the outdoors and children. He was born June 11, 1927, son of John H. and Minnie Vanderwoude Noorlander. He was a member of the LDS American Fork Training School Ward. He graduated from LDS seminary and had been active in 4-H. Survivors include four brothers and two sisters, Richard Noorlander of Ennis, Mont.; Stan Noorlander of Moab; John Noorlander of River-dale; River-dale; Blaine Noorlander of Hunt-sville; Hunt-sville; Mrs. Carlos (Jean) Clark of Hunt- sville. and Mrs. C. Blaine Marshall offered the Reuben G. Jolley Bertha M. Madsen !; Reuben Guy (R.G.) Jolley, 69, of Lindon, died Saturday, Nov. 7, 1987 in a Provo hospital following a long illness. He was born Nov. 18, 1917 in Junction to Reuben William and Minnie Savage Jolley. He married Georgia Torgerson Feb. 12, 1949 in Flagstaff, Ariz. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Lindon Sixth Ward. He had farmed and raised cattle in Angle, Utah and Delta, Colo., until 1961 when he moved his family to Lindon. He owned and operated the White Motel in Lindon. He was employed at the Utah State Training School, first as an attendant and later at the heating plant, always enjoying his work. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife of Lindon; one son and one daughter: Paula Anderson, Provo; Frank Jolley, West Valley City; eight grandchildren; two sisters and one brother: Mrs. Glen (Elma) Moore, Mrs. Max (Alma) Ogden and Valden Jolley, all Richfield. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 11, at Olpin Family Mortuary. Burial was in the Orem City Cemetery. Bertha Mower Madsen, 81, of Pleasant Grove, died Sunday, Nov. 8, 1987 in American Fork following a long illness. She was born Oct. 29, 1906 in Clear Creek to Kimball Delos and Rhoda Matilda Stevens Mower. She married James McFadden. They were later divorced. She married Clinton Earl Dugger. He died. She married Albert Peterson. He died. She married Paul Madsen Feb. 13, 1973 in Ely, Nev. She was a member of the LDS Church, living in the Pleasant Grove First Ward. She was a Gold Star Mother of the D.A.V. She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She had been president of the American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobby was bird raising. Elmer, 29, was killed Nov. 14 while on duty for the Murray Police Department. He was born March 2, 1958 in Lynwood, Calif., to Donald and Joan Jessop Elmer. He married Pam Miner on July 29, 1979 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a graduate of the University of Utah, a member of the Utah Peace Officers Association, graduated as an outstanding police trainee and received various awards for his canine training. He was an active member of the LDS Church, a Scoutmaster, an avid outdoorsman and sportsman, both as a player and coach. He is survived by his wife and children; parents of Springville; two brothers: Mike, Chandler, Ariz. ; and Joe Elmer, Lehi. Funeral services were held Tuesday, - Nov. 17, in the Salt Lake Canyon .Rim -"Stake Center.
