Show Nancy and Wayne Sechrest pose with a sample of the prints and posters available at Perfect Pictures. Perfect Pictures joins Am. Fork businesses Perfect Pictures is one of American Fork's newest businesses. Located in Suite No. 5 at Timp Plaza (near Smith Food King), the firm offers prints and posters and does custom framing. Owned and operated by Wayne and Nancy Sechrest, they are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, with later hours a possibility for the up-coming holidays. - "If people want to bring their prints or photos in to the shop, we will frame them as well as ones they purchase here," Mrs. Secreast said. Their prints include something for everyone from toddler and teenager to the varied interest of adults. "We have prints for children, fine art prints, and contemporary for the teenager," the Sechrests said. Sizes range from the small 8x10 to "big as life - six feet by two feet." There are contemporary car prints, dance prints, as well as some limited edition types. Posters, also popular with teenagers, are found here, and include in-clude both sporting and travel subjects. Prices are modest and fall into a range to fit everyone's pocketbook for themselves or for gifts. There are also prints to fit any decor from the old-fashioned to the most modern and for every room in the house. "I'm an art buff and whenever I wanted something very artistical or classic, I couldn't find what I was looking for," Mrs. Sechrest said. "The more I got into it, the more I became interested in starting a business featuring a variety of prints because I was sure there were others like myself." Liza Fraughton and Jerilee Walker will be assisting in the store, they said. "We feel we are offering a service to the community that hasn't been available before without going to poster shops in University Mall or to Salt Lake to get," Mrs. Sechrest said. "It has really been exciting putting put-ting it together." They will hold a grand opening to coincide with the business community's com-munity's Moonlight Madness promotion later this month. Perfect Pictures is a far cry from the regular "hats" of the couple, however. Mrs. Sechrest is a program specialist for the state health department, doing public relations on hazardous waste. Sechrest is Utah County Fire Marshall. They have resided in Highland since January of 1978, and are the parents of three children, Lisa and twins Nathan and Amanda . |
