Show Doll club presents annual show The McCurdy Doll Club of Utah presents their annual Harvest Holiday doll show and sale Saturday, Satur-day, Nov. 1 from 10 to 5 at the Steelworkers Union Hall, 1847 So. Columbia Lane, Orem. Nine categories are planned for the doll show competition; antique, Kewpie, brides, celebrity, Ginny, Raggedy Ann and Andy, bears, M.A.'s before 1965, and My Favorite Doll (for children under 12). There is a limit of two dolls per person in any category. They, may be registered from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and must remain on display until 4:30 p.m. For more information, contact Georgia Wilson, 225-2469, or Becky Wiser 226-1118. There is also a doll look-alike contest for children 12 and under. They may look or dress like their doll. Registration is at 11 a.m. with judging at 11:30. Prizes will be awarded. Refreshments will be sold all day. Admission is 50 cents. |
