Show Kocherhans celebrate 60th anniversary Rupert and Verona Kocherhans, Pleasant Grove, will celebrate their 60lh wedding anniversary this month. Their family will honor them at an open house on Friday, June 20, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Edgemont Meeting House, 4000 N. 650 East (Timpview Drive), Provo. An invitation in-vitation is extended to all friends and relatives. They request no gifts. The couple were married June 1, 1926 in Lovell, Wyo. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have lived in Wyoming most of their lives, but for the past several years have spent their winters in Mesa, Ariz. Rupert Kocherhans was born June 1, 1905 in Lovell, Wyo., the eldest of 10 children born to John Hyrum and Eliza Elenor Asay Kocherhans. He attended the Big Horn Academy and graduated from Lovell High School. He has spent Cowley, Wyo. on Feb. 8, 1910 S has worked in the Primary w Relief Society and for years k been involved in the dance prog of the church, working with L people. She was active in the PT.t serving as the state PTA presidet of Wyoming. Through the years they owned horses, been members j riding clubs and have participate; in local rodeo and horse sfc events. Rupert and Verona served am month mission for the churching Arizona, Tempe Mission and ak served in Montana for a Is months. They are the parents of & children: J. Rex Kocherhate Provo; Arthur J. Kocherto Fullerton, Calif.; Mrs. Marin (Renee) Ladd, Provo; C. Jj Kocherhans, Mesa, Ariz. ; Philip j. Kocherhans, Salt Lake City; an! Gilbert J. Kocherhans, Spokast Wash. They have 40 grandchildm and 82 great grandchildren. Rupert, Verona Kocherhans many years working in the farming and livestock industry. He has served in the church as a Sunday School superintendent, an Elder's Quorum president, a High Councilman Coun-cilman in the Big Horn Stake, and as bishop of the Lovell 4th and 2nd Wards.
