The City of Fun Carnival will be at the Downtown Park all day and stawberries and cream will be available in the park and at the rodeo grounds every day. On Friday there will be a greased pole climb at 1 p.m. and a pie eating contest at 5 p.m. in the city park west of the Community Center. "Camelot" will again be presented at 7:30 p.m. at the junior high and a youth dance will begin at 10 p.m. at the Community Center. The rodeo will again be held at the rodeo grounds with Canyon Dodge as a co-sponsor. The City of Fun carnival will again be in the Downtown Park. Events slated for Saturday include a doubles tennis tournament for all ages. Men play at the junior high courts beginning at 7 a.m. and the women play at the high school courts beginning at 8 a.m. The Strawberry Days Swimming meet will be held at the Pleasant, Grove Pool beginning at 9 a.m. The Horseshoe Pitching Tournament Tour-nament will be at 10 a.m. at the Downtown Park. Campus games will be held north of the Public Safety Building at 1 p.m. A matinee presentation of "Camelot" will be seen at the junior high school at 3 p.m. Saturday. The final night of the rodeo will be held at the rodeo arena beginning at 8 p.m. The City of Fun carnival will continue at the city park. |
