Show Louis Holdsworth Priests Quorum and was a Provo Temple worker. Surviving are his wife of Lehi ; two sons and a daughter: Allan J. Holdsworth, Lehi; Grant J. Holdsworth, Flagstaff, Ariz.; and Louetta Dammann, Murray; 21 grandchildren; grand-children; 10 great grandchildren. Services were held Tuesday in the Wing Mortuary Chapel. Burial was in the Lehi Cemetery. Gloria Dixon Gloria Ann Evans Dixon, 47, Provo, died Monday, May 28, 1984, at her home of heart failure. She was born May 14, 1937 in Salt Lake City to Ernest Floyd and Jennie Shellon Evans. She married Carl W. Dixon, May 19, 1954 in Salt Lake City. They were divorced. She was educated in American Fork and attended American Fork High School. She Clea S. Cook moved to Provo following her marriage and has lived there since. She worked at Burrell Press Clippings for five years. Survivors include one son and two daughters: Carl V. Dixon, Mrs. Bruce (Diana D.) Thorsen arid Mrs. Shayne (Teresa D.) Hatch, all of Provo; three grandchildren; her mother of American Fork; one brother and four sisters: Ernest Evans, Wyoming; Marilouise Boberg, Sandy ; Muriel Mecham, Salt Lake City; Marcia But-terfield, But-terfield, Provo; Barbara Bar-bara Woolf, Phoenix, Ariz. Funeral services were held Friday, June 1 at the Provo 34th Ward Church. Burial was in the American Fork City Cemetery. t W i c'2j Louis Bahr Holdsworth, Hold-sworth, 77, died Friday, June 1, 1984, at American Fork Hospital following a heart attack. He was born Feb. 9, 1907 in Lehi, a son of Jonas and Harriet Rebecca R. Holdsworth. Hold-sworth. He married Marietta Jones, Dec. 3, 1930, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was a retired steel inspector for U.S. Steel's Geneva Works. He served an LDS Card of Thanks The family of Clifford E. Schmuhl Clea S. Cook, 53, our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away in Royal Oak, Michigan, Friday, June 1, 1984 after an extended illness. She was born July 18, 1930 in American Fork to Leslie C. Searle and Ruby Parker. She married Richard E. Cook Sept. 13, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She had resided with her family since 1961 in Michigan. Throughout her life she was active in the brothers and a sister, Max P. Searle, L. Kent Searle and Mrs. Brent (Myrna) Milne, all of American Fork; three grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 5 in Bloomfield, Mich. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, June 6, at 11 a.m. in the American Fork Third Ward Chapel, 198 W. 300 North, where friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. to pay their respects. Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery. LDS Church. She is survived by her husband, son, Richard, and daughter, Sharon, all of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.; daughters, Mrs. Kevin R. (Susan) Pinegar, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Kent G. (Janalee) Leavitt, Anarbor, Mich. Two Fork, she was Ward Relief Society President, worked in the Mutual and was Stake Sunday School Secretary. She has served two missions with her husband in Innsbruck, Austria and Dusseldorf, Germany. Mrs. Schmuhl leaves behind as survivors, her husband and six children: Evan P. and Mrs. Kent (Eliza) Nordgren, West Valley City; Mrs. DeLoy (Dorothy) Teuscher, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Al (Helen) Bottema, Cedar City; Howard P. and Albert P., American Fork; 32 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; one brother, Adolf Posnien, Nevada; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar (Erna) Chytraus, Salt Lake City; and Mrs. J. Marcus (Elizabeth) Griffin, Bountiful. Funeral services were held Thursday, May 28, in the Cottonwood Cot-tonwood 6th Ward in Salt Lake. Interment was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery. Helene . Louise Posnien Schmuhl, a former resident of American Fork and mother of two current American Fork residents, passed away quietly at home in Salt Lake City on May 27, 1984. She was 77 years old. Mrs. Schmuhl was born in Braunsweig, Germany on April 15, 1907 to August and Augusta Posnien, where she was raised in a loving family. After graduating from secretarial school, she worked several years before emigrating to America in 1928. The following year she married Albert F. Schmuhl in New York City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Six children were born to their union. The family eventually moved to American Fork where they lived for 12 years. Their last four children graduated from the American Fork schools. After their last son graduated Francis Shinkle jges$su:.v--'-v-MMi:Av.-.-.-.v.w.-. . na--''av from high school, the family moved to Concord, California and subsequently Lombard, Illinois, where Mr. Schmuhl had been transferred with U.S. Steel. ' After retiring, they returned to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Schmuhl was a devoted wife and mother; she will be remembered for her love and service. She was cheerful, willing to share her talents and abilities with her families and those around her. She served her church in many capacities, several of them leadership, from her youth until her health no longer permitted per-mitted her to leave home. While in American Francis Munro Shinkle, 62, of Lehi, died Wednesday, May 30, 1984 at his home. He was born Oct. 18, 1922 in Felicity, Ohio, a son of Wilbur Gill and Janette Clark Munro Shinkle. He married Phyllis Kathleen Clive Jan. 22, 1944 in Los Angeles, Calif. He was a seaman in the U.S. Merchant Marine and was later employed as an iron wife, Lehi; two daughters: Mrs. Gary (Frances) Christof-ferson Christof-ferson of Lehi and Mrs. David (Sandra) Holliman, Provo; five grandchildren; brothers, brothe-rs, William Shinkle, Albany, N.Y.; James Shinkle, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.
