Curry pleads guilty to false report charge Carla Curry of Pleasant Grove plead guilty to filing a false police report in eighth district court recently. Miss Curry, 21, falsely reported to Orem Police Detective Jim Simmons that a man had abducted ab-ducted her after her car broke down on Geneva Rd. Simmons reported that Curry had cost his department over $350 in overtime investigating her case. He said that she changed her story, and said that she had been picked up in an area that was actually in the count, At this point, the Utah Coi Sheriff's Department took over i case.
