Show PI. Grove police investigate several auto accidents in city Daniel J. Barney, 17, of 5058 W. 11000 N., Highland, received leg injuries Thursday when the car he was driving rolled over at 1800 N. 100 E., Pleasant Grove, i Officer Dave Vickers said the ! accident occurred when Barney had j to take evasive action to avoid a car I preparing to turn at the intersection, i His car landed on its roof. Damage to i the car was estimated at $3,000. Two girls who were passengers in the car, Cindy Maughan and Terri Spairhoner, both 16, and both of American Fork, were not injured. A hit and run accident occurred Jan. 26 when a car owned by H. Robert Howard, 245 W. 900 N., was struck by another car. The driver of the car did not stop, according to i investigating officer Bert Bean, j Mr. Howard's Subaru sustained about $4,000 damage. The incident i occurred at about 11:45 p.m. Investigation In-vestigation is continuing and charges are in the process of being filed. Cars driven by Larry D. Jensen, 17, of 785 E. 100 S., and Denan Jakeman, 30, 753 E. Center, collied at 300 E. 500 S. There were no injuries and each car had several passengers. Damage to the Jensen vehicle was set at $2,000 and $200 to the Jakeman car. Investigating officer was Dave Vickers. Snow was the contributing cause of an accident when cars driven by Mark Clements, 16, of 904 Sage Circle in Pleasant Grove, and William Troy Mercer, 22, 715 N. 25 W., Orem, collided at 100 E. State Road. No one was injured. Damage to Clements' car was estimated at $300 and $500 to the Mercer vehicle. Office Bert Bean investigated the accident. |
