Show ; Outstanding I Volunteer Named i Many hours of planning and kpreparation were donated by volunteers throughout the state in Jefforts to raise money Jfor the Heart Association. x Utah nursing homes participated in the sixth tannual Rock'N'Roll iJamboree in February Ho raise funds. Nominations for outstanding out-standing volunteers ;were submitted by the -facilities. Of the more than 50 iiames reviewed, Emily Hitchcock, a senior in Jiorticulture at BYU, Nvas named outstanding out-standing Volunteer for 1982 at a luncheon in Bountiful by the Utah Health Card Association ;and the Utah and American Heart Association. In addition to attending BYU as a full time student, Emily regularly volunteers here time at Central Utah Rehabilitation and Health Center. Her assistance in organization of an outstanding entertainment en-tertainment program for the Jamboree was invaluable. .' Many hours were also spent canvassing the community for support of the effort. The staff and residents of CURHC would like to congratulate and thank Emily for her contributions. |
