Show LaVell Edwards speaks at Jr. Sem. morningside The Pleasant Grove Jr. High Seminary held a Morningside Wed., Sept. 29, at 7 a.m. The speaker was BYU head football coach, LaVell Edwards. He spoke on the theme, "Serve as a Witness for Christ", realizing adversity will come your way, but also understanding the great eternal blessings if you stay strong. Other activities this year have included an . Opening Social with 200 students competing compet-ing with their classes in Mock sports. A class officers meeting was held and the theme, "Serve as a Witness for Christ" was presented. The meeting was held at 7 a.m. on September 15. The course of study for this year is the Book of Mormon and 96.4 percent of all LDS Jr. High students are enrolled en-rolled in Seminary. The class of the month for September was Brother Taylor's 2nd period. Tim Debenham is the class president. We are excited about seminary and expect to have a very successful and spiritual year. |
