Show Geneva Honors Long-Ter- m Employees Several residents of Pleasant Grove and Lindon were honored recently for 15 years or more of continuous service with U.S. Steel Corporation at a lun-cheon at Riverside Country Club. Those from Lindon were Robert A. Greaves, Douglas E. Nielsen, 35 years ser- - vice; Douglas G. Shumway and Paul W. Swenson, 25 years; Dan E. Forbes, John D. Swenson and Steven R. Westphal, 15 years. From Pleasant Grove were Morris J. Hall, Gale L. Harper, C. Robert McCausland, Glenn C. Nielsen, Jay "C" Rose, Daniel Simper, and Sherman Varney, 35 years ser-vice. John M. Candland, Rodger Hardy, Bill Holman, Daniel F. Nehring, R. Dean Rowland, and Ray Melvin Young, 30 years; Nyle J. Doyle, 25 years; Kent B. Blackhurst, Gerald L. Bushman, James L. Crofts; Ramon A. J f 4 ; '. - - t. :? vi,j' v :.; I nr , j FRED KEETCH, fireman, teaches fire safety during babysitting course. i Baby Sitters Course Announced Pleasant Grove Region of the Utah Association of Women under the direction of the Crime Prevention Task Force with the cooperation of the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Ambulance Association. r A Baby Sitters course Hor girls and boys will be presented in the Pleasant Grove Fire Station October 21, 28, f and November 4 and 11. ' f The four classes will finclude, "Baby Sitter Safety," "Fire and fHome Safety CPrecautions," "Emer-- ! .gency First Air," and p'Child Care and En-tertainment." The classes will be taught by policemen, firemen, and Emergency medical technicians, and are designed to train more qualified baby-sitter- s capable of handling emergency situations. Certificates will be presented to those who complete the four classes. There will be a $2 fee per student to cover the cost of films, handouts and a Baby Sitters Handbook.
