Welcker will report on workshops that were held regarding staggered schedules, extended day options, year-roun- d school, K-- 2 double sessions, four day week, etc. This is being spon-sored by the Utah Association of Women, American Fork Chapter, and will be held at the Utah Power and Light Building, 51 East Main, American Fork, on October 20 at 7:30 p.m. The school district wants the people of the area to help make decisions on these possible plans to in-fluence the final decision. Kiwanis Install Robert Hicks As New President . Robert Hicks of Pleasant Grove has been installed as the new president of Pleasant Grove Kiwanis Club. He replaces J. Ford Anderson who has served the past year. Harvey Kawlinson has been retained as secretary. The installation was performed by the Lieutenant Governor, Duane Herbert, of Orem. The board of gover-nors includes Brian U william, Harold Jacklin, Lowell Baxter, Lyle Stewart and Keith Stirling. Club members at-tended a banquet at the Hilton Hotel in Salt Lake City to honor a visit by the International Kiwanis President, E.B. "Mac" McKitrick and his wife Doris who were present at the banquet. The banquet was held Wednesday, October 7. -- 7 e f ii t COANE HLRBLRT. Kevin, 14, is an eighth grader at Pleasant Grove Junior High School. He plays the clarinet in the school band. His hobbies include fishing and hunting.
