Show Genealogy Classes Offered At B YU Those interested in a class designed to promote self-directed genealogical research may attend structured workshops held every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. in Provo. Sponsored by the Utah Valley Branch Genealogical Library, these workshops will be taught on the main floor of the Brigham Young University Harold B. Lee Library, southwest corner and are free and open to the public. "There will be qualified consultants available to help participants along every step of the way," said Elaine Sap, director of the workshop. "Those involved will learn how to do basic genealogical research and how to use the genealogical materials." The workshop is designed to be ongoing on-going and there is no formal application, ap-plication, Mrs. Sapp explained. A small kit has been prepared to aid researchers and is available for a minimal fee. |
