With enrollment well over 800 students, the teachers, students, PTA and principal all felt the need for a full-tim- e librarian at their school. The petition initiated by the by the Grovecrest PTA asking for a full-tim- e librarian, swayed the school board to re-instate Mrs. Wadley. Mrs. Wadley has become more than a librarian to the students. They have written many letters to her saying how much they enjoy her and trust her for help: "We have reports and things at Grovecrest and need her help." "When we would go to the library we would goof up without our librarian." "We all like going to the library and checking out books. We will be happy to hear her stories now." "We would go in at recess and she wasn't there, now she is, I'm sure glad the rest of the school is as glad as I am that she's here to help us now!!!" A heartfelt thanks to the school board and the Grovecrest PTA, as Mrs. Wadley's absence was missed by all.
