Show Funeral Services Held on Monday for Bill Hamilton Funeral services for William F. Hamilton, 64, were held Monday, Feb. 4 in the Pleasant Grove Stake Center, under the direction of Bishop Kenneth Jarvis of the Fourteenth Ward. Mr. Hamilton died Friday, Feb. 1 at his home. Speakers at the services ser-vices were Bishop Jar-vis Jar-vis and President John P. Gourley and a life sketch was given by Bliss Brimley. Musical numbers were given by William E. Petersen, accompanied accom-panied by Donna Keate and by Anne Hill and Alice Myers on the violin and piano. Prayers were given by Clive Pulham, Eugene Jarvis, and Mont Pulham and the grave in the Orem City Cemetery was dedicated dedicat-ed by Arland Pulham. Pallbearers were Bob, Douglas, Scott, and Wayne Shepherd and Micky Braithwaite and Carl Banks. Honorary pallbearers were Michael, and Chad Braithwaite and Eric, Shaun, Travis and Bryon Shepherd and the 14th Ward High Priests Quorum. William F. Hamilton was born May 20, 1915 in Midway, to David Marton and Delia Clara Van Wagoner Hamilton, Hamil-ton, He married Mavis Pulham on Jan. 15, 1949 Lehi. The marriage mar-riage was later solemnized solem-nized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died Jan. 6, 1967. He married mar-ried LaRue Smith on July 23, 1970 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church. He held the office of-fice of High Priest in the Pleasant Grove 14th Ward at the time of his death. He served as a counselor in the Elders quorum presidency presi-dency and as Scoutmaster. Scout-master. He was a retired employee of Geneva Steel and was also a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters, Bob Shepherd, Douglas Shepherd, Mrs. Michael (Sharon) Braithwaite, Mrs. Carl (Debbie) Banks, all of Spanish Fork; 21 grandchildren; four brothers and three sisters, Floyd Hamilton of Park City; Mrs. Elgin (Lela) McAffee of Pleasant Grove; Orvil Hamilton of Tooele, Charles Hamilton of Lake Mead, Nev.; Bert Hamilton of Carson City, Ci-ty, Calif; Barbara Mason of Harbor City, ) Calif, and Mrs. William ' (Doris) Hermanson of Salt Lake City. |
