Classes which will be taught are as followes: 3 year old class 1 Vt hours, twice a week Monday and Tuesday, 6 weeks $20.00. 4-- 5 year old class, 2Vi hours, twice a week Wednesday and Thurs day, 6 weeks, $25. Anyone wishing to register must pre-regist-by the 22nd of August due to limited seating. Anyone wishing to late register will pay a late fee of $3.00. Glade, Pediatrician, has been appointed to the American Fork Hospital Medical Staff, and he will open his office at 291 North 300 East, American Fork on July 9th. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and he is married to the former Margaret Harvey. She is from Pocatello, Idaho. They are the parents of four children. Dr. Glade graduated from the Brigham Young University and was then accepted at the Rochester School of Medicine in Ro-chester, New York, He completed his in-ternship at the Dr. Gordon B. Glade Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in Penn-sylvania, and com-pleted his residency at the Children's Hospit-al of Philadelphia in June of 1980. CHEER TEAMS Members of the cheer teams from Pleasant Grove High School participated in the United Spirit Association Camp on the Utah State University campus. Nearly 4,000 spirit leaders were present. Girls going were row 1, Carolyn Blackham, Jill Swensen, Gayle Smith, Denise Fryer, Shelley Doyle; row 2, Laura Mosher, Connie Walker, Stephanie Allen, Lisa Maag, Kelly Clements,- row 3, Lisa Lund, Susan Larsen, Heidi Tanner, Jenae Harris, Gaylynn Fields,- row 4, Karen Thomas, Gaylynn Taylor, Cin-dy Whatcott, Jerri Bennett and Liz Norman. Sherbet and hard ice cream have about the same amount of calories, 258 per cup; ice milk 199 calories per cup; and soft frozen custard, 334 calories, says Kristy Mohr, extension specialist in nutrition and food sciences at Utah State University. Each of these deserts is a mixture of milk, stabilisers, sugars and flavorings combined in different amounts. Ice cream is made from cream, milk, sugar, flavorings and stabilizers and must contain at least 10 per-cent milkfat to be ship-ped interstate. Frozen custards con-tain more egg yolks than the other pro-ducts and ice milk con-tains less milkfat than ice cream, between two and seven percent if shipped interstate. Sherbets contain Daily Bus Service to Records Meet Daily bus service to the World Conference on Records in Salt Lake City, August 12 through 15 is being sponsored by the Utah Valley Branch of the Utah Genealogical Association. Buses will pick up people from Payson through Lehi along a scheduled route. All seats will be reserved on a prepaid basis for the entire con-ference. Cost of round trip bus fare will 1e less than $5.00 per day. Buses will leave Utah Valley in time for the first lecture each day. One bus will return immediately following the last lec-ture, and one will return around 8 p.m. so participants may visit the conference exhibits without having to delete lectures from their schedules. Will Sponsor Battle of Bands July 23, 7 p.m. The Pleasant Grove Recreation Depart-- ' ment will be sponsor-ing a battle of the bands on the 23rd of July at the Pleasant Grove High Tennis courts. All bands wishing to enter must register at the Recreation Center not later than July 22. There will also be a disco competition (couples) with prizes awarded to the first, second and third places. Those wishing to enter the Disco com-petition must also register at the recrea-tion center by the 22nd of July. Band competition and dance will begin at 7 p.m and then at 8 the disco competition will begin. If you are in-terested call us and let us know, the success is up to you. Sign up now for the Lagoon trip on August 2nd at 12, and also the talent show on the 10th of August.
