Show Roger Adams Honored by Jaycees "N8 Dr. Roger J. Adams, son of Mr. and Mrs. K.V. Adams of Pleasant Plea-sant Grove was recently honored by the United States Jaycees as an Outstanding Young Man of America. For 38 years the Jaycees have annually honored young men from 21 to 36 who have been nominated by outstanding civic and professional leaders. The candidates who meet the standards of the Advisory Board, comprised com-prised of prominent national na-tional leaders, are those chosen for this honor. Barry L. Kennedy, Pres. of the U.S. Jaycees says, "Young people, particularly those who are preparing prepar-ing for future leadership, leader-ship, are the greatest resource of this coun-try. coun-try. Dr. Adams is married to Kathleen McConkie and they are the parents of Melainc, Washington Dental and Medical Univ. and a staff member at Barnes Hospital in the Pathology and Radiology departments, depart-ments, along with maintaining his own dental practice. His church activities have been numerous and his civic accomplishments ac-complishments include afiliations with child Abuse, Dental Consultant, Consul-tant, St. Louis City and county Medical Examiner Ex-aminer asst., American Cancer Society and others. Dr. Adams and his family moved to Rochester, Minnesota in June of this year where he was accepted as a Resident doctor at the Mayo Clinic. He will spend the next three years in the specialized field of oral surgery. He is thrilled with the experiences afforded af-forded him at the Mayo Clinic. Dr. Roger J.
