At 7:30 Max Waters will discuss "Who am I, really?" All youth over 14 are invited to stay to the dance at 9. This activity will be held at the Provo Central Stake Center, 1220 West 500 North, Provo, The band will be Lat ter Day Sensations. Hof-fer, formerly of Pleasant Grove, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter Randi to Otto R. Nuila, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lotario Nuila, Provo. The couple will be married November 1 in a ceremony performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will honor them that evening from six until eight at the Shadowbrook Clubhouse, 3300 North University Avenue, Provo. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. Special guests will be Mr. and Mrs. David W. P Stevens, grandparents of the bride, and Mrs. Luise Gutowski, grandmother of the groom. Miss Hoffer is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School and LDS Seminary. She has attended Utah State University and Brigham Young University where she was affiliated with Angel Flight. Mr. Nuila graduated from Orem High School and atten-ded BYU where he was a member of the soccer team. Upon graduation he received a bachelor of science degree in computer science and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air force. He has completed un-dergraduate navigator training. Following their marriage, the couple will reside at Mc-Di- ll Air Force Base, Florida, where Mr. Nuila will com-plete his Air Force training. . - - ''' I . ' t if '. - r DANIEL f. PACK AND MISS MARCIA KAYE PORTER Marcia Porter and Daniel Pack Plan Wedding on December 6 Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Porter of Redvale, Colorado, wish to announce the engagement of their daughter, Marcia Kaye to Daniel T. Pack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Pack of Pleasant Grove. A December 6 wedding is planned at the Provo LDS Temple. The bride-elec- t graduated from Nucla High School in 1973. She is attending the University of Northern Colorado. She is presently doing her student teaching at Brush High School in Brush, Colorado. Mr. Pack graduated from Wasson High School in Colorado Springs, Colorado in 1973 and is presently working with Pack Construc-tion Company in Pleasant Grove. The couple will be honored at a reception, December 10, at the Naturita LDS Chapel, in Naturita, Colorado. Eagles Halloween Party The Fraternal Order of Eagles, Pleasant Grove will hold their Halloween party Saturday October 29th. Chairmans: Buzz and Delores Moss, report stuffed Bell peppers will be on the dinner menu, for which there will be a fee. Everyone atten-ding is asked to come in costume. A Hallowen walk will take place at 10 p.m. at which time prizes will be awarded for the best costumes. The evening will include dancing. ' ; i MISS LISA ALLRED Lisa Allred, Robert Parker Plan Spring Wedding in Temple Board. She is a 4 year graduate of LDS seminary and is currently attending Utah Technical College. Her fiance' is a graduate of Clark High School in Las Vegas, Nevada where he was all-stat- e in tennis for two years. He then attended BYU for 3 years, majoring in chemistry. He was in the Honors Program, and also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. He received a Presidential Scholarship from BYU. He was then accepted into Medical School, where he is currently a Sopomore at St. Louis University School of Medicine. After their marriage the couple will make their new home in St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. and Mrs. Ellis V. Allred of Pleasant Grove, Utah announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Lisa, to Robert Jeffrey Parker, son of Dr. and Mrs. Robert H. Parker of Las Vegas, Nevada. The couple are planning a spring wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. A reception will follow in their honor that evening in Pleasant Grove. The parents of the prospec-tive bridegroom will host an Open House later in Las Vegas. ' Miss Allred has selected JoLyn Farrer as matron of honor, with Jodi Parker, Larraine Foster, and Robyn Allridge as bridal attendents. Vikki Allred and Ricki Linn Farrer will be flower girls. Brent Parker and Craig Robertson will share duties of the bestman. The bride-to-b- e is a graduate of Pleasant Grove High School where she was active in school activities and was a cheerleader, songleader, and member of the pep club. N.S.A. has a continuing education program to keep their members abrest with current methods of efficiently assisting the executive in his work as well as personal development of the secretary. The organization also spon-sors the Certified Professional Secretary program and would hope that all executives would en-courage their secretaries to become a C.P.S. All auxiliary members are urged to be present at the meeting. University Women Hold Meet The Pleasnt Grove Branch of the American Association of University Women met last Tues, Oct. 18, at the home of June Monson. Speakers were candidates for Pleasant Grove city of-fices. Mark Bezzant, mayoral candidate and his running mates Roland Robinson and Don Frazier, candidates for City council posts each presented his views and ideas for Pleasant Grove, followed by a question and answer period. Later, Mayor Cornell Haynie, Councilman Frank-mill- s and hopeful Steve Peterson each spoke to the group outlining their views and also responded to a question and answer period. This provided a very in-formative and enjoyable evening for AAUW members. Attending were members Retta Crease, Jenny Gleasen, Marjorie Holdaway, Rosalie Jacklin, June Monson, Elaine Reay, Eva Reimschiissel, Vera Wagstaff and Ruth Yashko and guests Romona Allen and Sue Winmill. A tasty snack was served by hostess June Monson and Ruth Yashko.
