Show Sophs Win Two Games come from behind to beat Uintah Uin-tah 20-14 last Friday. The Utes took a 6-0 lead but Caldwell ran in from 34 yards to tie the score midway in the second Quarter. It was a case of David slaying Goliath when a group . of just 16 sophomore football players downed Orem, 20-6 in the seasons first game for both squads. Snickers, pointed fingers and outright "gufas" characterized charac-terized the reaction of over 90 Orem sophomore players when the Vikings took the field. Generous servings of "humble pie" were seen dripping drip-ping from their helmuts when the game ended. Moosman went to the air, hitting Caldwell for 18 yards and a score to make the score 12-14.BIG PLAY With four minutes to play, Moosman passed to Eddie Prewitt. The Play covered 60 yards. Mark Firth pulled in another moosman pass for the two point conversion, giving the sophomores their second straight win. Odell Fowels and Mark Phillips received praise from the coaches for their outstanding outstan-ding defensive performances.
